Hidden away down a gravel road, this location is popular for hikes, bike trails, picnics and camping. As remote as this location feels, it is conveniently located only 20 minutes away from town.

2. Wander through the Queenstown Gardens

The Queenstown Gardens has something for everyone. It offers a stroller-friendly walking trail, beautiful gardens, a playground, views of Lake Whakatipu, a tennis court, ice skating rink and a frisbee golf course.
